Funny you talking about cricket, I was musing to a friend recently that the best thing about my summer holidays (back in Jan) was that it encompassed 2 entire Test Matches (please note the capitals, as also used with words like God, Bible and other Holy things). It was fantastic to just sit and watch guys work out how to look like they knew what they were doing more than the guys in the other hats. Great stuff! Played a gig at the Esplanade (Busso, not Freo or Albany!) on Friday night - 1st one in a few months, and was good to blow some cobwebs off the ol' vocal cords. Anyway - played 'The Weight' which always makes me think of you (I recall badly jamming it with you 15 years ago) and Carms (cos of a couple of the lyrics) and therefore the rest of your family, and Albany, and camps, and such and such. You'll be glad to know that The Weight was buried in the 1st set, and things got far more energetic after that! Anyway - I know that this entry is a couple of months old, but glad that things are still looking up (I'm assuming there's no change there?) Catcha soon, Toddy Hey – long time no check-in.
